A Letter to Myself

Hey,
It's been a while and the last five years have been tough—for your heart, your mind, and your spirit. Personally and professionally, you’ve felt stretched, overlooked, and uncertain. Hold on, because everything is about to change.
Soon, you’ll fall into a relationship you never saw coming. You’ll land that job title you’ve worked so hard for. It won’t look like the dream you imagined, but it will give you space to dream bigger—beyond the mountaintops.
Your mental health will waver, yes. But you’ll find grounding in unexpected places. Your hair, nail, and lash routine might take a hit (sorry, girl), but you’ll redefine self-care on your own terms.
You’ll hear the words you’ve only heard in dreams or watched others experience: “Will you marry me?” And yes—you’ll get the ring (and it’s a great ring girl). The journey toward marriage won’t be picture-perfect, but the journey will be yours. Some people will leave. Some family won’t show up like you hoped. But you’ll keep showing up for yourself.
And then… your daughter will arrive. Your firstborn. Just like you. She will unlock pieces of your soul you never knew existed. She’ll be your light, your heartbeat, your greatest teacher.
And guess what? That blog you’ve dreamed of since middle school? You’ll finally start it. You’ll share your voice, your truth, your story.
There’s so much more ahead. Keep going—you’re just getting started.
With love,
Future Talaya
